McLennan County Commissioners on April 7 approved a set of contracts and procurement items tied to public-safety operations and the county jail.
AllPaid participation agreement: The Court authorized a participation agreement with AllPaid, Inc., that allows the Sheriff’s Office to accept electronic cash-bond payments (eBONDS) through a vendor interface; county attorneys reviewed the agreement and the Court recorded that there is no additional cost to the county to enable the service.
Mugshot cameras and reporting tools: The Court approved a quote from CDW-G for two Axis network mugshot cameras to be used in the Highway 6 booking area (total $4,560.38) and approved an authorization to incorporate an affidavit form into report-writing for the Tyler Records Management System (reported quote $1,520), both items recommended by IT and the Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s Office indicated the purchases will be funded from Jail Commissary and Federal Forfeiture funds as documented in the agenda packet.
Jail technology and payment flow: Commissioners recorded the Sheriff’s authorization to move forward with AllPaid and requested staff to finalize implementation steps including any required vendor integrations with Genesis/eBONDS and Tyler systems. The Court approved each item unanimously.
