Board members reviewed several facility repair updates. The chair said the windows were repaired. On the elevator, the chair and warden said parts were ordered and the vendor expected completion within a few days after arrival; the vendor contract included a two-month performance period with a stated $1,000-per-day penalty if work extended beyond that window, the warden said.
Regarding damage to the facility 'salad bowl,' the warden said parts had been ordered and staff would take photographs and present them to the insurer, which requested photographic documentation before confirming coverage. The chair said he would follow up with adjusters and asked that staff keep the board informed.
The board approved the bills and moved on to other agenda items and scheduled follow-up on repairs.
