Will Farley, TPAC representative for Clackamas County, summarized May 1 TPAC business: fatal-crash reporting showing 12 fatalities in April (including five in Clackamas County), an AMTIP amendment programming funds for the Willamette Greenway/Columbia Boulevard project, and an upcoming TPAC vote in June on the IVR package. Jeff Owen (Clackamas County TPAC rep) reminded members that TPAC will vote on the IVR package on June 5 and hold a June 10 workshop.
Laura Turway (Happy Valley) previewed EMTEK's meeting later in the day, noting a Title 14 learning session, a presentation on middle-housing research, 2040 growth concept outcomes and a community connector transit update.
A TriMet representative (John) alerted the committee that TriMet will share details later this week about administrative spending cuts for FY27 and preliminary information on positions that may be eliminated as the agency resizes its budget, including the possibility of layoffs.
Jamie reminded members to complete the C4 retreat economic development presurvey and the chair closed the meeting early.
