Staff reported the combined action increases the Ancon contract price and appropriates $17,881.35 from the consolidated TIF area to cover the additional work.
Separately, staff described an engagement with New Age Telecom, recommended by the city's IT department, to handle networking for the new Woodland Crossing offices. The commission authorized the engagement not to exceed $35,867 and requested the IT and public works departments manage and inspect the work, with funds appropriated from the consolidated TIF area.
Both items were approved by voice vote. The meeting record does not show a line-item breakdown of the Ancon increase or any alternate bids for the networking work.
