Northfield trustees agree to present a 3% water-rate adjustment after discussing HAP/Harding project

Patrick calculated that moving the proposed water rate closer to CPI (about 3%) would increase the charge by roughly 9 cents per 100 cubic feet compared with the draft figure, and he said staff will revise the proposal to a 3% increase and bring that recommendation for consideration at the March 24 hearing.
Next steps: staff will present the adjusted 3% water-rate proposal on March 24 alongside the FY2027 budget materials and the HAP Road committee presentation.
