The Minnetonka Sustainability Commission voted May 19 to adopt revised bylaws and to confirm its leadership for the coming year.
Staff explained that the commission must review and adopt bylaws annually to clarify meeting procedures, roles and alignment with other city commissions. After a brief presentation and no substantive objections, the commission moved to adopt the updated bylaws and approved them in a roll‑call vote.
The commission then held the annual officer appointments. Chair Golub said he would be willing to continue in the role; Commissioner Ashley Patane nominated Commissioner Meyer for vice chair and that nomination was seconded. The commission approved reappointing Golub as chair and appointing Meyer as vice chair. Commissioners clarified the vice‑chair appointment will take effect at the next commission meeting.
Votes at the meeting were recorded by roll call: Carr, Sher, Meyer, Patane, White and Chair Golub all voted in favor of the bylaws adoption and the officer appointments, and the motions passed.
