City staff opened sealed bids for the city’s summer paving program and asked the board to take the proposals under advisement.
Mister Dunn read four bids for an approximately 4-mile project: E & B Paving submitted $675,122.68; Wallace Construction $684,475.30; Grady Brothers $733,366.48; and Milestone Contractors $743,465.88. Dunn asked the board to accept the bids for consideration and said staff would return with a recommendation at the next meeting.
Board members noted the closeness of the bids and thanked staff for soliciting competitive offers. No award was made; the item will return on the agenda with staff analysis and a recommended contractor selection.
