IT committee: CAD/RMS rollout complete, county wins cybersecurity grant and plans AI training

"It's taking repeatable processes and automating them," the director said, adding the county will pilot training and then work with individual departments to identify automation opportunities.
Committee members asked about risks, vendor choices and whether AI-related tools would introduce new security concerns; staff said the county will start with internal training and incremental pilots and noted many commercial products already incorporate AI for analytics and filtering.
