Committee forwards multiple CTE sole-source contracts to full board

The committee then considered a series of CTE-related sole-source contracts that staff said the district has used previously: CareerSafe (online OSHA certification courses), CertiPort (certification preparation and testing for Microsoft and Adobe), Pathful (career-exploration scenarios), Project Lead The Way (CTE curriculum and teacher training), Skillstruck (Python credential preparation), SolidProfessor (drafting course preparation for Autodesk certifications) and VEX Robotics (robotics competition equipment). Each item was moved, seconded, and forwarded to the full board by voice votes recorded in the meeting as 4-0.
All motions were procedural referrals to the full board rather than final contract awards at this meeting. Committee members asked operational questions about program scope and supports but did not withhold referral votes.
