After lengthy discussion, board allows Dunkelberger lot-line realignment

The Centre County Agricultural Land Preservation Board voted on Jan. 22 to allow a lot-line realignment requested by Edwin Dunkelberger for a preserved farm in Benner Township.
Edwin Dunkelberger, joined by his son Ryan, introduced the request and engaged in an extended discussion with board members that the minutes record as lasting about 40 minutes. After discussion, Thomas Songer III moved and Lamartine F. Hood seconded a motion to allow the realignment; the board voted in favor and the motion carried.
The board did not record further conditions in the minutes; staff will proceed per normal land-preservation procedures and any Department of Agriculture guidance if required.
