Two speakers, Amanda Kildow and Matt Walker, spoke in favor. The Morrill County chairman, Jeff Metz, submitted opposition; the City of Alliance Fire Department and Electric Department also formally registered opposition. Steve Swanson submitted a letter opposing the vacation.
Commissioners did not vote on the vacation during the meeting. The hearing record was closed at 10:47 a.m.; no final action on vacating CR 62 is recorded in the meeting minutes.
