Council members noted a history of safety problems on Donna Drive, including an incident involving middle‑school students. The task order passed by voice vote. The Century Avenue scope and RFP release were also approved; staff will add specified driveways and consider phasing and jurisdictional implications in the final RFP documents.
Next steps: staff will publish the Century Avenue road‑diet RFP and solicit consultant proposals within the budgeted study amount. The SRF task order for Donna Drive will proceed under the public‑works line item dedicated to pedestrian/bicycle safety.
