Fort LeBoeuf board approves bills, contracts, IU budget and multiple personnel actions

The Fort LeBoeuf School District Board of Directors approved a series of financial and personnel items at its March 19 meeting, including two sets of interim computer bills totaling $2,025,173.75 and $94,369.20, respectively, and multiple contracts and program agreements.
On motions led by Mr. Rose the board accepted expenditure and revenue reports for filing and approved payment of computer bills #72079 through #72130 and #72218 through #72309 totaling $2,025,173.75 and computer bills #80058 through #80119 totaling $94,369.20. The board also approved the cafeteria report for filing and authorized the business manager to close PNC Bank accounts and transfer funds to First National Bank upon final reconciliations.
The board approved the 2026/2027 Northwest Tri-County IU#5 budget; the meeting record notes Mrs. Renee Turi abstained from the IU#5 budget vote while other trustees voted in the affirmative. The board awarded the maintenance-department utility tractor bid to EA Equipment Sales & Service for $40,500 and approved contracts including the Alternative Education for Disruptive Youth (AEDY) contract with Bethesda Lutheran Services and the Sarah Reed Therapeutic Social-Emotional Learning Classroom contract for 2026/2027.
Trustees approved multiple personnel items: intents to retire for Laura Lockhart, Jeffrey Metzler and Robin Roberts; a sabbatical for teacher Dana Keck for the first semester of 2026/2027; resignations from Rebecca Goetz (effective 6/30/2026) and Jessica Rose (effective 3/27/2026); and appointments including Lacey Keck (HS musical assistant), Elvir Vila (girls' head soccer coach), Emma Walters (administrative assistant, Student Support Services/District ACCESS Coordinator, $46,000) and Sheila Hessler (bus driver).
Other routine approvals included credit-reimbursement requests, the district substitute and volunteer lists, a parent-paid tuition request, professional-development attendance, student trips and summer-camp requests. Most motions are recorded as carrying with "all 'ayes'" votes; where the record shows an abstention (IU#5 budget), it is noted above.
