Board approves Bayada nursing-services agreement, accepts resignations and approves substitutes and FMLA
Summary

The board approved an agreement with Bayada Home Health Care to provide RN or LPN nursing services for the district from Dec. 1, 2025, through July 31, 2026, at a rate of $55.00 per hour.
Separately, the board accepted multiple resignations, including the retirement of custodian Bonnie Frits effective Jan. 30, 2026, and the resignation of Whitney Mull, Health Room Technician, effective Jan. 7, 2026. The board appointed Rebecca Wessner as a long-term substitute Social Studies teacher at a prorated salary of $56,800 (effective on or about Jan. 5, 2025, for at least 45 days) and approved prorated salary adjustments for other staff (example listed: Cirstyn Sempko, Masters +15 Step 2, $61,700).
The board granted FMLA leave for three employees (effective dates listed in the minutes) and approved substitutes for the 2025–26 school term. The superintendent was authorized to hire personnel between Jan. 15 and Feb. 12, 2026, as needed and to recruit candidates to fill vacancies.
