Pinckney council hears DDA banquet report, Recast Leaders presentation, police and DPW updates

Julie Amy gave a Downtown Development Authority report describing a successful 1920s-themed awards banquet honoring Mike Szafranski; the minutes note many local businesses donated to the event. Councilmember Jo Self presented a Recast Leaders cohort initiative and was credited for organizing the program.
PPD Chief Garrison told the council that a newly hired officer is scheduled to graduate from the police academy on Feb. 20, and DPW Director Moma said the public works crew has been keeping up with snow clearing while he works on the department budget.
During public forum Putnam Township Clerk Val Niemiec suggested collaboration with Village President J. Buerman on Police Millage numbers. The public forum opened at 8:10 p.m. and closed at 8:11 p.m.
