John Snyder, who reported the items during the workshop, said theater-equipment training took place the same day and that vape detectors will be installed this week at MHS and CHMS. "Scoreboard remodel starts on 4/27," he stated, and the minutes record that the walk-in-cooler RFP is currently out with an estimated cost of about $320,000 and will be placed on the next meeting agenda for approval.
The presentation did not include a final vendor or a board vote; the RFP estimate was described as approximate and requires formal approval by the board before procurement can proceed. The district also noted the recent theater-equipment training as part of routine staff familiarization and said installations of the vape detectors are scheduled to occur this week.
