Courtney Dean Cardin, chair, led the council through routine financial business, including claims, refunds and a maintenance purchase. The council voted to include a recently received Eagle Services invoice for pit cleaning totaling $5,369.60 in the claims list.
Gina, the town sanitary clerk, presented multiple billing items. She said account 1142 had paid the year in full and requested a $589.64 refund to permit the incoming tenant to assume monthly payments; the council moved, seconded and approved the refund. Gina also requested an adjustment between two properties (accounts 1124 and 1516) to use a $10.58 overpayment on one account to cover a $7.64 balance on the other; council approved staff to make the adjustment.
The council approved a $441.21 refund to account 1225 for a seller who paid for the year, but the refund was explicitly approved "pending confirmation from the title company" that the payment should not have been included in the sale proceeds, per Gina's request.
Gina reported account 1716 (1180 Harbor Way) had been billed since September 1, 2025 for trash service even though the new home had not received trash carts. Republic confirmed no carts had been delivered and scheduled delivery; council approved a $71.30 refund for the missed trash service.
In new business, staff presented a Cummins repair estimate to fix a nonworking display panel and investigate exhaust silencing for a shop generator. The council moved and seconded and approved the Cummins repair invoice for $2,338.20 (before tax). The council discussed a maintenance plan and a separate silencing quote to follow.
The meeting included multiple roll-call approvals; the transcript records affirmative responses without a fully specified roll-call vote record in each instance. The council adjourned after completing the listed items.
