Mosinee FCCLA students report state wins and national conference plans

Ruby Slowicki, a member of Mosinee’s FCCLA chapter, updated the board on her chapter’s experience at the Wisconsin FCCLA State Leadership Conference and the chapter’s upcoming participation in national events.
"My name is Ruby Slowicki, and I'm here to share with you Mosinee FCCLA's experience at the Wisconsin FCCLA State Leadership Conference in April this year," she said. She described chapter activities including STAR events, a statewide pin tradition used for networking, student ambassador roles, and breakout presentations. She said three students earned silver medals, ten earned gold medals, and ten competitors qualified to compete in Washington, D.C. this summer.
Ruby thanked the board for its support and noted the leadership and networking benefits for students who participated. The board offered brief congratulatory remarks and asked if there were any questions.
The board thanked the students and moved on to the rest of the agenda.
