Troy City ZBA elects James Macaulay chair and Aaron Green vice chair

The Troy City Zoning Board of Appeals elected James Macaulay as chair and Aaron Green as vice chair for a one-year term during the May meeting. The nomination was unopposed and the board voted to approve the appointments.
Chairman Vossenbroek told the board he would decline to serve again and that this meeting was his last as chair and as a board member. James Macaulay accepted the chair position and said he would serve “for one year.” Aaron Green volunteered for the vice chair role and the motion to elect Macaulay as chair and Green as vice chair was made, seconded and carried by the board.
The board discussed whether to delay elections until the full seven-member board was seated but proceeded under the ZBA’s rules, which schedule elections in May. With both officers confirmed, members said they expect to continue monthly business and return in June for a scheduled training item.
The election concludes the board’s officer selection for the coming year; no further action was required.
