Mike Cole (speaker 4), representing the Tobacco Valley Rodeo Association, presented a check to the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners during the Feb. 18 public‑comment period and described recent and planned improvements at the county fairgrounds.
Cole said the association had secured an additional skybox last year, sold two more for the coming year, and has completed work on a vendor area and a new load-and-shoot. He invited commissioners to visit the fairgrounds this spring for a walkthrough of the projects. Commissioners thanked him for the donation and the invitation.
Cole said the association invests revenues into maintenance and occasional construction to support better events and spectator experiences; no funding requests or actions were taken by the board at the meeting.
