Ringgold County Board approves FY26 budget amendment and three alcohol permits

The Ringgold County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a published FY26 budget amendment and three alcohol permits at its May 18, 2026 meeting after a short public hearing that produced no comments.
Chair Cotby Hotmes opened the public hearing on the FY26 budget amendment at 10:00 a.m.; there were no public comments. At 10:10 a.m. Supervisor Steve Knapp moved to close the public hearing, Supervisor Randy Taytor seconded, and the Board approved the FY26 budget amendment under Resolution RC26-89 by unanimous vote.
The Board also approved alcohol permits by unanimous votes: Resolution RC26-90 approved an alcohol permit for Tenx Adventures 3, LLC (DBA Big Bend Bar & Gritte); RC26-91 approved an alcohol permit for Ringgold County Development Corporation for an event at Poe Hollow Park; and RC26-92 approved an alcohol permit for Getting' Stushed South of 35, LLC for an event at Sun Valley Lake. Each resolution was moved and seconded as recorded and carried with AYES unanimous, NAYS none.
After handling the advertised business, Supervisor Steve Knapp moved and Supervisor Randy Taytor seconded to approve the minutes; the motion carried. With no further business the Board adjourned.
