The Three Village Central School District Board of Education certified the district's May election results and announced that two propositions failed during its May 19, 2026 meeting.
The district clerk announced that the budget proposition failed and that a museum proposition also failed. The clerk read vote totals into the record for the propositions and trustees before the board moved to certify the results. "The budget failed," the clerk said at the meeting. The board then moved, seconded and voted to certify the reported results.
The clerk read the certified trustee totals as follows: Miss Gallini, 2,771 votes; Dr. Kerman, 2,699 votes; Miss Ruffley, 2,706 votes. The clerk congratulated the winners and stated the results were certified by the board. The Chair then called for and accepted a motion to adjourn.
The certification at the board meeting completed the local procedural step of recording and accepting the returns; the board did not take any further action on the failed propositions during the meeting.
