The Greeley County Board of Commissioners on May 12 unanimously approved a series of routine and programmatic matters, including corrective final plats, a county behavioral‑health match, a small nonprofit contribution, a health‑insurance subgroup enrollment and an executive‑session meeting on potential litigation.
Planning & Zoning Administrator Trevor Nekoliczak presented Corrective Final Plats for Greeley Lagoons #1 and #2 to correct title and dedication wording; motions to approve both plats passed on unanimous roll‑call votes. The board’s approval resolved clerical issues in the recorded plat documents, as described in the Planning & Zoning presentation.
The board approved the Region 3 Behavioral Health Services FY 2026–27 county match request of $5,622.76; the minutes note re‑apportionment reduced Greeley County’s match by $133.95 for the coming fiscal year. Commissioners also approved a Letter of Agreement with the Region 3 Regional Governing Board covering July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028.
Julissa Rivera, executive director of First Light Child Advocacy Center, requested and received board approval for a $1,000 county contribution to support services for children and families affected by abuse, neglect or violence; the minutes state First Light served three children/families from Greeley County in 2025.
Treasurer Mary McGuire submitted a delinquent real‑estate tax list totaling $7,481.71 as of May 6, 2026; the board reviewed the list. The sheriff reported distress warrants returned unsatisfied but noted no outstanding uncollected personal taxes, and the board approved that report.
The board also approved enrollment in the NACO Blue Cross Blue Shield subgroup for employee health and dental coverage, noting a projected 9.92% premium increase for the next renewal period. Deputy Jay Welch provided a brief operational update that supply delays are slightly delaying preparation of a new patrol vehicle.
County Attorney Joe McNally requested and the board entered an executive session at 10:00 a.m. to discuss potential litigation; attendees included the commissioners, County Attorney McNally and attorney Andrew Willis of Cline Williams. The board returned to regular session at 11:50 a.m. and adjourned at 11:52 a.m. The next regular meeting is scheduled for May 26, 2026.
