Wayne County board to incorporate solicitor recommendations in preservation manual’s subdivision section

Members of the Wayne County Agricultural Land Preservation Board reviewed proposed changes to the Subdivision portion of the board’s preservation manual at their Feb. 18 meeting.
Meeting minutes indicate the proposed changes had been presented to Solicitor Marrissa McAndrew prior to the meeting and that the solicitor’s recommendations will be incorporated into the draft. Board members discussed the proposed edits and directed staff to prepare the revised language for a vote at the March meeting.
No formal vote on the manual changes was taken on Feb. 18; the board expects to act on the revised Subdivision language at its March meeting on March 18, 2026.
