"A recovery center needs to be licensed no matter what level," Snyder told the commissioners and asked whether the new facility will provide social services, mental health services and other supports to ensure continuity of care. She recommended the board consult Stephanie Robinson, executive director of the Hope Recovery Center, who she said is guiding the project.
County officials and staff responded that the local recovery board (formerly the ADAM board) and Hope Recovery Center have been involved and that support services are in place. Staff offered to provide Snyder with contact information before she left the meeting.
The exchange consisted of a resident request for confirmation about licensing and continuity of services and a staff commitment to follow up with contact details; no formal action on the facility was recorded during the meeting.
