Randolph board discusses park upgrades, fencing, courts contract and sports streaming sponsorship

Randolph board members used the April 8 meeting to review several park and recreation items, including fencing, court repairs and event support.
Board member Brandon Miller said he will contact Bridger Valley Fencing to confirm the town's deposit and to determine when work can begin; the board is targeting late summer for the fencing project. Separately, the town received a contract from Courts Unlimited; Mayor Sim Bell signed the contract and the town will send a deposit check to schedule court work. The plan is to install basketball hoops after the work and, if funds remain, purchase portable bleachers.
Kaleb Thomson will measure the park fencing line to obtain bids, and Kathy Argyle will request quotes for Christmas lights and decorations at the park. Miller said he has not yet reached Jeff and Denise Hamburger about a planned 5K run and will follow up before the next meeting.
Bradley Holmes will stream local sports events and the town agreed to an "elite" sponsorship level at $2,500 per year to support that streaming. Mayor Sim Bell also noted that Steve Myers intends to sell reservoir lot shares in September and has leased the lot for the summer; Myers requested a lump-sum payment when he sells.
The board did not finalize installation dates or contractor start dates at the meeting; several items are pending vendor confirmation and measurement bids.
