Mayor Sim Bell opened the Randolph Town Board meeting on April 8, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. and the board quickly addressed a request for a new business license.
Eric Digerness asked the board for a license to operate Dig's Hydraulics, a garage-based hydraulic repair service. Digerness told the board the business would not use large equipment or machinery. Board member Kathy Argyle moved to approve the license; Brandon Hatch seconded and the motion carried unanimously. Clerk April Groll said Digerness will provide his Tax ID number to the clerk once he receives it.
The board also approved several routine items. After Clerk Groll read the minutes, Argyle moved to accept them and Clay Barker seconded; the minutes were approved. Groll then presented the bills; Brandon Hatch moved to accept them and Kathy Argyle seconded, and the board approved the bill payments. Bank statements were circulated for review.
The board did not identify any conditions attached to the Dig's Hydraulics approval during the meeting. The meeting proceeded to other agenda items following the approvals.
