C&R and South Noble Lake drainage trustees approve minutes and small invoices

Trustees of the C&R Drainage District and the South Noble Lake Drainage District met May 5, 2026, in Council Bluffs and unanimously approved routine minutes and small vendor invoices.

At the C&R Drainage District meeting, Trustees Susan Miller, Keith Jones, Jeff Jorgensen and Brian Shea (Trustee Tim Wichman absent) opened the session. Keith Jones moved and Jeff Jorgensen seconded approval of the March 31, 2026 minutes; the motion carried unanimously. The board then approved payment of a $51.35 invoice from the Harrison County Times-Reporter for publishing costs tied to the Feb. 24, 2026 meeting (motion by Miller, second by Jorgensen). After the listed procedural items the board voted to close the C&R meeting (motion by Jorgensen, second by Miller).

At the South Noble Lake Drainage District meeting, the same four trustees opened the session. Trustees approved the March 24, 2026 minutes (motion by Miller, second by Jorgensen). The board approved payment of a $380.00 invoice to Bolton & Menk for “FEMA Administration — Professional Services” (motion by Jorgensen, second by Jones); Jon Rosengren of Bolton & Menk is listed as attending by phone. Trustees also approved a $29.86 invoice from the Harrison County Times-Reporter for publishing costs of the Feb. 24, 2026 meeting (motion by Miller, second by Jorgensen). The South Noble meeting was then closed by motion (motion by Jorgensen, second by Jones).

All recorded motions in both meetings carried by unanimous vote. The minutes and invoice approvals were procedural and did not include policy changes or contested items.
