Morrison County amends Next Chapter Technology contract to add Phase 2 CaseWorks licenses and revise schedule

Morrison County and Next Chapter Technology (NCT) executed Amendment No. 1, effective March 24, 2026, to revise the Phase 2 (SSE) Project Schedule (Exhibit C) and the Phase 2 Order Form (Exhibit E), the amendment shows.
The revised Order Form lists CaseWorks Social Services Edition (SSE) for 62 full-user licenses with a Year 1 subscription cost of $117,738 (to be prorated and due upon pre-project planning kickoff). Phase 2 implementation services are listed at $129,512 with a 25% discount applied (discount contingent on a fully executed contract for both phases by Dec. 31, 2025). NCT will provide four complimentary full-user licenses contingent on a signed contract for both phases.
The revised Project Schedule in Exhibit C shows training and go-live dates for Phase 2: end-user training July 6–10, 2026; Go‑Live on July 13, 2026; and post Go‑Live support through July 17, 2026. The amendment states that Phase 1 terms remain unchanged.
The Order Form also includes detailed subscription billing schedules for Phase 1 and Phase 2 and professional services billing milestones tied to business-process review completion and go‑live delivery.
The amendment is signed by Nathan Bertram, Morrison County director of Health and Human Services, and Cathy Wassenaar, CEO of Next Chapter Technology.
