Resolution 1874: RCO youth athletic facilities grant Parks Director Aliyah Hibbs presented a proposed application to the Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office for lighting at Boise Creek fields (a six-plex). The application requests $400,000; the grant requires a 50% match. Parks staff said $202,000 in impact fees is already budgeted and that approximately $198,000 would need to be budgeted in 2027 to meet the 50% match plus contingency.
Council moved, seconded and approved Resolution 1874, authorizing the mayor to execute the grant application and allowing staff to pursue the funding.
