Council approves replat for Lot 111B after owner's attorney addresses council

The owner's attorney, Mr. Nader, addressed the council and confirmed the request: "So again, we are just requesting the council to approve of a replat. This is of Lot 111 B... to the south of the lot, it's just a small buffer that will be added on to the lot," he said, and asked that the mayor be authorized to sign the replat so it could be recorded.
A council member confirmed the commission had no one present to oppose the replat, and the clerk conducted a roll call; the council approved the resolution, and the mayor will sign for recording as recommended by the commission.
The approval authorizes the administrative step of mayoral signature and recording; it does not change zoning beyond what was recommended by the Planning, Zoning and Building Commission. The mayor and the applicant will follow up to complete recording.
