The Cottonwood County Board of Commissioners, sitting as the county Ditch Authority, reopened the public hearing on County Ditch No. 42 on May 5, 2026, and approved the Findings and Order Adopting the Redetermination of Benefits.
Attorney John Kolb reviewed the March 16 proceedings that preceded the meeting. Kody Fossum of H2Overviewers presented and explained an amended Viewer’s Report to the board and the Ditch Authority. Commissioner Thomas D. Appel re-opened the hearing and invited public comment; none was offered. The Ditch Authority approved the Findings and Order by roll call motion.
