The Wales Planning & Zoning Committee voted to approve an application for a 16-by-16 greenhouse to be built on the east end of the garage at 92 West Center Street.
The clerk read that the applicant, Stephen Lam, submitted a letter of intent, site plan and building plans and that "the structure will have no water or electric service and will require no county inspection," according to the record read by the clerk (Clerk). DeBowers moved to approve the application and Austin Sheppard seconded; the clerk recorded the motion as passing unanimously among those present.
The committee also reviewed setbacks and confirmations required for the plat. The clerk said the submission included a site plan, and that required endorsements and certificates from the surveyor would need to be included when the plat is filed with the county recorder.
Committee members did not record any conditions beyond the standard endorsement and recording requirements. The committee scheduled routine follow-up steps for recording the approved documents and noted that training and other planning items will be discussed at the next meeting.
The committee adjourned at 7:24 p.m., per the minutes read at the meeting.
