Washington Terrace RDA approves tentative budget for fiscal year 2026-2027

City Manager Tom Hanson presented the Washington Terrace Redevelopment Agency’s tentative budget for fiscal year 2026-2027 at the RDA meeting on May 5, 2026, saying the plan outlines the operational requirements for the central business district and is comprised of RDA operational expenses.
Hanson also told the board that the South East Project area has expired and that staff will be working on opportunities for projects to bring back to the RDA for review; he said a future RDA work session will be scheduled to continue that discussion.
Vice Chair West moved to approve the tentative budget; Board Member Cheryl Parkinson seconded the motion. The board approved the motion unanimously, 5-0.
Earlier on the agenda the board approved the meeting agenda and the minutes from Oct. 7, 2025, by general consent. After approving the tentative budget the board moved to adjourn; Board Member Parkinson made the motion, Board Member Michael Thomas seconded, and the adjournment was approved unanimously. The meeting ended at 7:01 p.m.
