Interim Planning Director Dusting Minchew presented a proposed text amendment to the Ware County Zoning Resolution on April 13. The amendment would add definitions for "Closed Loop Cooling System" and "Data Center" in Article III and would amend Article VII to change conditional-use language in 705.3 (Limited Industrial-LI), 706.3 (General Industrial-GI), 706.A.6 (Industrial Park-IP) and 707.5 (Agriculture/Forestry-A). Minchew said the changes are intended to clarify conditional uses and definitions related to industrial and data-center activities.
No public support or opposition was recorded at the hearing. The board added the proposed text amendment to the regular meeting agenda for further review and possible formal action.
