RDA tentatively adopts FY27 budget and sets public hearing for June 16

The Farmington Redevelopment Agency re-noticed and adopted its tentative fiscal year 2027 budget during Tuesday’s meeting, then set a public hearing for June 16, 2026.
Levi told the RDA board that the tentative budget contains very little RDA activity: “The tax increment that we collect in the RDA, we don't we don't collect tax increment anymore at this point,” he said, adding that the revenue has been incorporated into the city’s general fund.
Melissa moved to adopt the tentative RDA budgets and establish a public hearing for 06/16/2026; Amy seconded the motion and the board voted to approve it unanimously. Staff said they re-noticed the tentative budget out of an abundance of caution after identifying a possible noticing requirement they may have missed earlier.
Next steps: The RDA will hold the public hearing on June 16, 2026, at the date, time and place stated in the adopted resolution. Staff said they will return with any additional materials required for the hearing.
