The board approved consent items A through E, which included minutes from the April 13 pre'agenda and April 20 board meetings, new library book titles for 2025'26, child nutrition bid awards and termination of a third'party Medicaid billing agreement. Trustees voted 5'00 to approve the consent items.
The finance committee reported a committed fund balance of approximately $4.892 million (about $4 million committed to capital projects) and an unrestricted fund balance of $48,035,170. The board approved the bills, accounts and financial statements for April 2026 by a 5'00 vote.
Superintendent recommendations to approve the 2026'27 teacher contracts and a list of administrator contracts were presented; both motions carried unanimously.
The board went into a brief executive session under Texas Government Code ' 551.074 for personnel matters and returned without taking action. The board announced its next pre'agenda workshop on June 8 and its regular meeting on June 15, then adjourned.
