The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) of the City of Duluth unanimously approved the proposed 2027 DDA budget at its May 19, 2026, meeting.
Assistant City Manager and Finance Director Ken Sakmar presented an update on the Authority27s accounts and invited questions about the proposed 2027 budget; none were raised. Tammy Lopez moved to approve the budget as presented; Ashley Towers seconded the motion. The board voted "All for," and the motion carried.
Earlier in the meeting the Authority approved its April 21, 2026, meeting minutes on a motion from Slade Lail, seconded by Tammy Lopez. The session concluded after a separate motion to adjourn was made by Ashley Towers and seconded by Slade Lail; the meeting ended at 6:23 p.m.
The DDA listed the next regular meeting for June 16, 2026.
