Villa Park hearing continues one permit case and enters default judgments for two no-shows

She told attendees they have 35 days to seek administrative review in the Circuit Court of DuPage County if they wish to appeal.
Danita, a village staff member who presented enforcement details for multiple cases, asked the panel to continue one permit-related matter after the defendant submitted additional paperwork the same day. Danita said of case CE2026-234 that "they did apply for the permit. They resubmitted some additional documents today. So I'm, going to continue this to June 4, for them to actually get the permit issued." The hearing was continued to 06/04/2026 at 4:30 p.m.; Carrie Bracki identified herself in the record as the defendant's daughter.
Two other defendants were marked as failing to appear and were entered in default. In case CE2026-235 (Kim Keefer, 240 North Princeton), Danita said Keefer "is not in compliance" and that the file showed the same violation dating to 2023. The officer found a factual basis for the charge, entered a default judgment and assessed a $750 fine.
Multiple charges against Azhar Perzada (listed as CE2025-887-196-197-199 in the record) were also addressed. Danita told the hearing that she had informed Perzada's attorney earlier in the week that the client needed to appear "or I was going to issue fines." The officer entered default judgments on the listed charges, assessing $500 per ticket plus a $35 administrative fee on each charge.
The officer closed the docket after the entries. Thomas reminded defendants of the civil nature of the proceedings and the right to counsel at their own expense. The hearing concluded with the continued date scheduled for the permit case and fines entered where defendants failed to appear.
