Jackson County approves budget amendments, payroll updates and election judge appointments

Jackson County Commissioners' Court approved several administrative and fiscal items during its Feb. 10, 2026 regular session, including budget amendments, payroll changes, payment of bills, and appointment of election judges.
The court voted to approve budget amendments, line‑item transfers and revenue certification for the FY2026 budget on a motion by Commissioner Douglas Frenzel, seconded by Commissioner Wayne D. Bubela; the minutes note the clerk has a copy of the amendments among court exhibits. The court also received unaudited financial statements for Nov. 30 and Dec. 31, 2025; Commissioner Bubela moved, and Commissioner Dennis Karl seconded, to receive those statements.
Commissioners approved payment of county and precinct bills and payroll (motion by Commissioner Dennis Karl, seconded by Commissioner Glenn Martin). The court also approved payroll changes as presented, with personnel entries and effective dates recorded in the minutes and supporting documents.
For elections, the court approved appointment of election and alternate judges for the March 3, 2026 joint primary election on a motion by Commissioner Wayne D.
