Chair Vang opened the meeting of the Fresno City Planning Commission and, after staff reported no changes to the agenda, moved to refer item ID 26668 back to staff for renoticing and scheduling at a later date. The motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
Under the commission’s procedures, staff provides an initial presentation, the project applicant may present, and testimony is taken first from supporters and then from opponents; each speaker is limited to three minutes by the podium lights. Commission counsel and staff recommended that item ID 26668 be renoticed to allow for the public comment period, and the chair made the motion to refer. The chair opened the public comment period for the item and recorded that there were no in-person speakers; public comment was then closed.
Commissioners also noted that the item will be brought back at a date to be determined by staff following renotice. The commission recorded the approval of the referral by voice vote; there was no roll-call tally recorded in the transcript. The meeting also affirmed that two related items are continued to June 3, 2026.
The commission cited the planning commission rules and regulations (section 13 of article 2) when describing the order and time limits for public debate. The meeting adjourned at 6:09 p.m.
