The Dale County Commission on April 14 approved a memorandum of understanding supporting Mary Hill Family Service Center’s Renew Hope 231 human‑trafficking awareness program.
Commissioner Adam Enfinger moved to approve the MOU, Commissioner Donald O. Grantham seconded, and the commission voted unanimously to approve (Exhibit 5). The MOU states that the commission supports Mary Hill’s efforts to provide human‑trafficking awareness programming in Ozark and Dale County for the community at large and for frontline service providers, and that the county supports Mary Hill’s pursuit of a Children’s Trust Fund grant. The document sets the MOU term as Oct. 1, 2026, through Sept. 30, 2027, unless renegotiated.
The copy included in the minutes includes signature lines and dates; the minutes do not record a named Mary Hill representative in the signature block legibly, so the minutes attribute execution only to the Mary Hill Family Service Center representative and the commission chairman as presented in Exhibit 5.
