Grant County P&Z unanimously approves patio building permit and Mor-Gran-Sou utility permit

The Grant County Planning & Zoning Commission unanimously approved building permit BLD-2026-09 for a 16-by-33-foot replacement patio and utility permit UTL-2026-003 for Mor-Gran-Sou to replace overhead 7.2 kw cable with underground wiring via boring.
At its April 9, 2026 meeting, the Grant County Planning & Zoning Commission approved two permit applications with unanimous votes.
The commission approved building permit BLD-2026-09 for Brian and Amber Schatz to replace a patio measuring 16 by 33 feet. Vernon Straub moved to approve and Matt Hager seconded; all members present voted in favor.
The commission also approved Utility Permit UTL-2026-003 from Mor-Gran-Sou to replace existing overhead 7.2 kw cable with underground cable installed via boring. Barb Kraft moved to approve and Matt Hager seconded; the motion carried with all present voting yes.
The minutes record both approvals as carried without recorded dissents. The commission scheduled its next regular meeting for May 14, 2026, and adjourned at 10:50 a.m. MST.
