The Lynn County Commissioners Court on Jan. 27 unanimously approved a FY2026 fire-service agreement with the City of O'Donnell, accepted a contract for payment processing in the tax assessor-collector's office and authorized payment of county claims and payroll.
The court voted to accept the fire contract under agenda item 3 after Commissioner Tate Gass moved for approval and Commissioner Matt Woodley seconded. “All voted in favor, motion carried,” the minutes record. The vote was taken with four members present; Commissioner Larry Durham was absent.
Under agenda item 4, Kathy Grant presented a contract with Certified Payments for the Tax Assessor-Collector's office. Commissioner John Hawthorne moved to accept the contract; Commissioner Tate Gass seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
County Treasurer Deputy Mackenzi Reynolds presented bills under agenda item 10. Commissioner John Hawthorne moved and Commissioner Tate Gass seconded a motion to approve and pay claims and payroll; the court voted to approve the expenditures.
The approvals were routine and carried without discussion about changes to budget authority or funding sources. No additional conditions or amendments to the contracts were recorded in the minutes.
The court adjourned at 10:41 a.m.
