Lynn County Commissioners on Aug. 25 voted to keep the county’s TCDRS contribution rate at 4.48% for 2026.
County Treasurer Amy Schuknecht told the court the Texas County & District Retirement System rate stands at 4.48%. Commissioner Matt Woodley moved to retain that rate and Commissioner Larry Durham seconded; all members present voted in favor. Commissioner John Hawthorne was recorded absent.
The decision followed a brief presentation by Schuknecht and did not include additional discussion or amendments. The vote was recorded as unanimous among the four members present. The court’s action will apply to the county’s retirement contribution schedule for the 2026 plan year.
