"If we don't advertise it, nobody's gonna use it," one commissioner said. Staff suggested those operational items be handled offline with the public-works director.
Separately, commissioners discussed an upcoming private event to premiere a documentary on a 1926 tornado and requested temporary exhibit modifications to expand displays for the evening; staff/public works indicated they could assist with exhibit changes and advised that facility requests be coordinated through public works.
No formal action was taken; staff agreed to re-send the schedule to staff liaisons, follow up with the assistant town manager and public works for signage and parking solutions, and post the schedule online ahead of openings.
