County Coordinator Kelly Thongvivong presented personnel items: the board accepted the resignation of part-time Jailer/Dispatcher Saije Galer effective May 1 and approved moving Tammy Crowell, Legal Secretary, to permanent full-time status effective May 18 after successful completion of a six-month probationary period. The board also approved Legal Services Agreements between Cottonwood County and Kristi L. Meyeraan and between the County of Jackson and Cottonwood County.
Separately, the board approved May warrants across funds totaling $136,758.05, including County Revenue Fund ($16,009.29), Long Term Capital Outlay ($34,786.96), Ditch Fund ($34,406.56), Road and Bridge Fund ($41,033.09), Waste Abatement/SCORE ($4,312.53), and Landfill Enterprise Fund ($6,209.62).
Managerial items included a deferred decision on county clothing options and an operational change allowing the Farmers Market to set up on designated courthouse sides during construction (approved 4–1).
