Council approves series of gambling permits, license renewals and event extensions

Council President disclosed she serves as executive director for Nolan Turner Hall and Rathskeller, Incorporated, which holds a license on the list; she participated in the voice vote and the motion carried.
Resolutions authorizing Benny's and Rodney's Tavern to extend liquor service into specified downtown streets for summer events (with detailed street-closure windows) were approved.
