Council member Brewster moved approval and Council member Crews seconded; the motion passed with three yes votes and two members absent.
Public hearing continuation: The council opened Item 5-1 (Ordinance 2026-07) to amend Title 4 of the municipal code to add Chapter 12 regarding a volunteer fire department but decided to continue the hearing to the next scheduled meeting because the council is awaiting additional information. Council member Brewster moved to continue and Council member Crews seconded; the motion passed 3-0 with two absences.
