Dugas and purchasing staff said the project budget is roughly $2,000,000; the superintendent and staff said they are soliciting industry partners (including Edison West affiliates) to contribute equipment or co‑fund purchases so the district does not have to bear the full cost.
Vice chairman and staff encouraged staff to solicit input from local industry before final purchases so partners can identify in‑kind or cash support. Both procurement recommendations passed without objection.
